Sheikh Zayn al-Din

Sheikh Zayn al-Din was a renowned Indian animal painter who worked in the late 18th century. He was commissioned by Lady Impey to document the natural world in beautiful detail. Zayn al-Din's paintings are highly regarded for their accuracy and beauty. He is considered one of the greatest animal painters of his time. Zayn al-Din was born in Lucknow, India and died in Calcutta, India. He is remembered as a master of his craft.
