Shevrin Jones

Shevrin Jones is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida Senate. He is the first openly LGBTQ+ black person to serve in the Florida legislature. Jones was born in 1985 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from the University of Miami and later earned a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Jones has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has worked to pass legislation to protect the rights of marginalized communities. He has also been a strong supporter of education and has worked to improve access to education for underprivileged students.
