Shingo Goto is a Japanese economist who specializes in corporate governance, financial markets, and organizational economics. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2014 and has published numerous papers on topics such as executive compensation, board of directors, and firm performance. Dr. Goto's work focuses on understanding the role of managerial incentives in shaping firm behavior and decision-making. Prior to academia, he worked as a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
