Shunji Iwai is a Japanese film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on films such as 'Urotsukidōji: The Legend of the Overfiend' and 'Sukiyaki Western Django'. Iwai has received numerous awards for his films, including several Japan Academy Prize nominations. He is also a talented musician and has released several albums. Iwai is based in Tokyo, Japan.
