Former football manager
Sir Alf Ramsey was a British football manager and player. He is best known for leading the England national team to World Cup victory in 1966. Ramsey was born in 1920 and died in 1999. He was knighted in 1966 for his services to football. Ramsey was a highly respected figure in the sport and is still widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in English football history.
