Sir Matt Busby was a Scottish football manager and player. He managed Manchester United from 1945 to 1969 and led the team to numerous successes, including the European Cup. Busby was known for his innovative tactics and his ability to develop young players. He was knighted in 1966 for his services to football. Busby passed away in 1974 at the age of 72.
