Slobodan Milutinović

Slobodan Milutinović was a Serbian mathematician, engineer, and geophysicist. He is best known for his work on the Milanković cycles, which describe the changes in the Earth's orbit and axis that affect the amount of solar energy the planet receives. Milutinović was born in 1899 in Titel, Serbia, and died in 1974. He was a prominent figure in the Serbian scientific community and was awarded several honors for his contributions to science.
