Smir Qasimi is an Algerian novelist and short story writer. He is known for his works on Algerian society and culture. Qasimi has written several novels and short story collections, including "The Dreamer". Born in 1950 in Algeria, Qasimi has lived in various countries, including France and the United States. He is currently a professor at a university in Algeria.
