Sojourner Truth

Sojourner Truth was an American abolitionist and women's rights activist. She was born into slavery but escaped to freedom and became a prominent speaker and writer on issues of racism and sexism. She is best known for her famous speech at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention in 1851.
