Apostle and author of the Gospel of Luke
St. Luke is one of the most prominent apostles of Jesus Christ and is best known for writing the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. Little is known about his life before his conversion to Christianity, but it is believed that he was a physician and a companion of the apostle Paul. St. Luke is revered as a saint in the Catholic Church and is considered one of the most important figures in the early Christian church.
