Stephen C. Meyer

Stephen C. Meyer is an American paleontologist, author, and philosopher. He was born on November 11, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. Meyer received his Ph.D. in paleontology from the University of Chicago in 1991. He is currently a research scientist at the Discovery Institute in Seattle, Washington. Meyer has written several books on the topics of evolution, creationism, and the origin of life. His book, “The Return of the God Hypothesis”, was published in 2013 and presents a case for the existence of God based on the complexity of the universe. Meyer has been a vocal critic of evolution and has argued that it is not supported by scientific evidence.
