Stephen Hurst is the founder of Mercanta, a London-based company that works to improve the lives of farmers in Africa. He has extensive experience in the specialty coffee industry. Hurst graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in economics. Before starting Mercanta, he worked for various companies including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan.
