Steve Grogan is a former American football quarterback who played in the NFL for 16 seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots. He was born on June 7, 1955, in Ottawa, Kansas. Grogan played college football at Kansas State University and was drafted by the Patriots in 1973. He led the Patriots to several playoff appearances and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection. After retiring from football, Grogan went on to become a sports analyst and commentator, working for various networks including ESPN and NFL Network.
