Steven Avery

Steven Avery is a true crime subject and advocate who was the subject of the Netflix documentary series Making a Murderer. He was wrongly convicted of murder in 2005 and later exonerated in 2016. He is a self-taught advocate who has become a prominent voice in the true crime community. He is originally from Manitowoc and currently resides in Manitowoc.
