Stubby Kaye

Stubby Kaye was an American actor and singer who was best known for his roles in the musicals Guys and Dolls and Li'l Abner. Born Jacob Kalich in 1919, Kaye began his career in vaudeville before making his Broadway debut in the 1940s. He went on to appear in numerous film and stage productions, including the 1950 film version of Guys and Dolls. Kaye was known for his charismatic stage presence and his distinctive singing voice. He was also a popular television personality and appeared on numerous variety shows throughout his career. Kaye was married to actress Carol Haney and had two children with her. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 78.
