Suresh Kalmadi is an Indian former athlete and politician. He was born on November 17, 1954, in Pune, India. Kalmadi is a former long-distance runner who competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics. He later became a politician and served as the President of the Indian Olympic Association. Kalmadi has also been involved in various business ventures and has written several books on sports and politics.
