Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell

Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell is a British astrophysicist who made the first detection of a pulsar in 1967. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2018 for her discovery. She is also a strong advocate for gender equality in science.
