Susan Polgar

Susan Polgar is a Hungarian-American chess grandmaster and former women's world chess champion. Born in Budapest, Hungary, she began playing chess at the age of four and became a child prodigy. She is the first woman to earn the Grandmaster title through tournament play and has won numerous international titles, including four World Championships and twelve Olympic medals. Polgar is also a successful chess coach and has been named the greatest female chess trainer by FIDE.
