Paralympic Medalist and Adaptive Sports Coach
Suzy Chaffee is a paralympic medalist and adaptive sports coach who has worked with athletes with disabilities for over a decade. Born on April 16, 1988, in Seattle, Washington, she lost her legs at the age of 19 due to bacterial meningitis. Suzy went on to compete in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Paralympics, winning three medals. She is also the co-founder of the non-profit organization Adaptive Action Sports, which provides training and support to veterans and youth with disabilities to excel in adaptive sports. Suzy is known for her expertise in adaptive sports coaching and her dedication to empowering people with disabilities.
