Taiwan President

The President of Taiwan is the head of state of Taiwan. The current President is Tsai Ing-wen. She is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party and has been in office since 2016. Tsai is known for her work on Taiwan's relations with China and her efforts to promote democracy and human rights in Taiwan. She is a graduate of the National Taiwan University and the University of California, Berkeley. Tsai is married to Tien-tung Chang and has two children.
