Tammy Duckworth

Tammy Duckworth is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator for Illinois. She is a member of the Democratic Party and a veteran of the Iraq War. Duckworth was the first Asian American woman to serve in the U.S. Senate and the first woman to serve in the U.S. Senate from Illinois. She is also the first amputee to serve in the U.S. Senate.
