Tang Sanzang

Tang Sanzang was a Chinese Buddhist monk and diplomat who traveled to India in search of sacred scriptures. He is considered one of the most important figures in Chinese Buddhist history. Sanzang was a renowned scholar and translator, and his journey to India is said to have taken over 17 years. He is also known for his diplomatic missions to the Tang court, where he played a key role in establishing trade and cultural relations with neighboring countries.
