Tareena Shakil

Tareena Shakil is a former member of the Islamic State group who was convicted of membership and encouraging terrorism. After serving half of her six-year sentence, Shakil has become an advocate for rehabilitation and has spoken publicly about her experiences. She has worked with various organizations to help others who have been radicalized and has become a vocal critic of extremist groups. Shakil has also written a book about her experiences and has given several interviews about her time in Isis. She is based in the UK.
