Thinzar Yawnghwe

Thinzar Yawnghwe is a Burmese activist and writer who has been involved in the democracy movement in Myanmar. She is the founder of the Burmese Women's Network and has worked to promote women's rights and education in Myanmar. Yawnghwe has also written extensively on human rights and democracy in Myanmar. She is a prominent advocate for the rights of ethnic minorities in Myanmar and has worked to promote peace and reconciliation in the country. Yawnghwe has received several awards for her work, including the Human Rights Defenders Award from the International Human Rights Defenders Network.
