Thomas DiLorenzo is a professor of economics at Loyola University Maryland and a senior faculty member at the Mises Institute. He has written extensively on the history of economics and has been a vocal critic of Keynesian economics. DiLorenzo is known for his work on the Austrian School of economics and has argued for the benefits of laissez-faire capitalism. He has also been a frequent commentator on economic issues and has appeared on several news programs. DiLorenzo is a native of the United States and has a Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Tech.
