Tim Caulfield is a professor of health law at the University of British Columbia. He is a best-selling author and has published extensively on the ethics and policy of health and technology. Caulfield has been a vocal critic of the stem cell industry and has written about the need for more rigorous regulation of stem cell therapies. He is also a popular science writer and has written for publications such as The Globe and Mail and Maclean's. Caulfield has a Ph.D. in bioethics from the University of British Columbia and has taught at several universities.
