NHL Assistant Coach and Former Player
Tim Gleason is an American former professional ice hockey player and current assistant coach in the National Hockey League. He played in the NHL for 15 seasons, suiting up for the Carolina Hurricanes, Boston Bruins, and New York Islanders. Gleason was a key player on the Hurricanes' 2006 Stanley Cup championship team and was known for his physical play and leadership on the ice. After retiring as a player, Gleason transitioned into coaching and has been working with the Hurricanes since 2018. He is a native of New Jersey and graduated from Boston College. Gleason is active on Twitter and has a strong following among hockey fans.
