About Tim

Tim Harjo is a director, writer, and producer of film and television. He is the founder of the Mvskoke Cultural Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the culture of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Harjo has written and directed several films, including the award-winning documentary "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee". He is also a professor of film and media studies at the University of Oklahoma.
