Timothy McVeigh

Timothy McVeigh was a former Army soldier who was convicted of murdering 168 people during the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. He was sentenced to death and executed in 2001. McVeigh was born in 1968 in Lockport, New York, and grew up in a middle-class family. He was a graduate of the United States Military Academy and served in the Army for several years before being discharged. After his conviction, McVeigh was denied parole multiple times and was executed by lethal injection in 2001.
