Tom DiNapoli is the Comptroller of New York State. He has been in office since 2007 and is the first Democrat to hold the position since 1975. DiNapoli has a background in public service, having worked as a state senator and a member of the New York City Council. He has also served as the chairman of the New York State Democratic Committee. DiNapoli is known for his advocacy on issues such as budget reform and government accountability.
