Toshimitsu Motegi is a Japanese politician serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2017. He previously served as the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry from 2012 to 2017. Motegi is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been involved in various international diplomatic efforts. He is known for his experience in trade and economic diplomacy. Motegi was born in 1958 in Tokyo, Japan.
