Travis Zajac is an American ice hockey player who plays as a center for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on May 13, 1985, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Zajac played college hockey at the University of North Dakota and was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He has also played for the New Jersey Devils and the New York Islanders.
