Trevor van Riemsdyk is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. He was drafted by the Hurricanes in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Van Riemsdyk has also played for the Chicago Blackhawks and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
