Pioneer of women's education in Japan
Tsuda Umeko was a Japanese educator and women's rights activist. She was born in 1854 and died in 1931. She was the youngest member of the Iwakura mission sent to the United States in 1871. Tsuda Umeko was a trailblazer for women's education in Japan and paved the way for future generations of women. She was also a strong advocate for women's rights and equality. Tsuda Umeko's legacy continues to inspire people around the world.
