Ubay ibn Ka'b Al-ansari was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and a renowned scholar of the Quran. He was known for his exceptional memory and was one of the scribes of the Prophet. He was nicknamed "Sayyidu-l-qurrâ" (the chief of the reciters) due to his expertise in Quranic interpretation.
