Vladimir Zelensky is a Ukrainian politician who served as the President of Ukraine from 2019 to present. Before becoming president, Zelensky was an actor and comedian. He founded his own party, Voice, in 2020 and ran for president that same year, defeating incumbent president Petro Poroshenko.
