Valerie Fridland

Valerie Fridland is a linguist and author who has written extensively on language and culture. Her book, Like, Literally, Dude, makes the case for how 'like' and 'um' are leading the charge of modernizing our language. Fridland has also taught at several universities and has given talks on language and culture.
