Van Der Kemp

Van Der Kemp was a Dutch missionary who worked in Southern Africa in the early 19th century. He was a key figure in the development of the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa and played a significant role in the administration of the Cape Colony. Van Der Kemp was also a skilled linguist and was able to communicate with the indigenous people of Southern Africa, including the Xhosa and Zulu. He was known for his bravery and his ability to navigate the complex politics of the region.
