Vladimír Balažár is a Slovak politician and economist. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 and has served as the President of the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. Balažár has also worked as a professor at the University of Economics in Bratislava and has written several books on economics and European integration.
