Walter Olson

Walter Olson is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute's Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies. He is known for his writing on law, public policy, and regulation. His first book, The Litigation Explosion, was one of the most widely discussed general-audience books on law of its time. Olson has written for numerous publications, including National Review and Reason. He is a frequent commentator on law and politics. Olson has a Ph.D. in economics from New York University. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events. Olson is a vocal advocate for limited government and individual liberty.
