About Wilhelm
Wilhelm Hauff (1802-1881) was a German author and poet. He is best known for his children's books, particularly 'Der Zauberlehrling' (The Apprentice Magician). Hauff's works were widely popular in 19th century Germany and have been translated into many languages. He was also a prominent figure in the German literary scene, and his poetry is still studied and admired today.
