Will Geer was an American actor, voice artist, and director best known for his role as Dr. Alfred Hidemann in the television series Columbo. Born on November 12, 1922, in Kansas City, Missouri, Geer began his career as a stage actor before transitioning to film and television. He won numerous awards for his acting, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
