Willem Hendrik Kees van Maanen

Willem Hendrik Kees van Maanen was a Dutch physicist who made significant contributions to the field of quantum mechanics. He is best known for his work on the Zeeman effect and the van Maanen effect. Van Maanen was a professor at the University of Leiden and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1923 for his work on the Zeeman effect.
