William Henry Neale

William Henry Neale was a British-born Australian entrepreneur and adventurer who made his fortune during the Australian gold rush. Born in 1819 in England, Neale immigrated to Australia in the 1840s and quickly established himself as a successful businessman. He was one of the founders of the South Australian Company and played a key role in the development of the Monster Mine in Burra. Neale was known for his bravery and entrepreneurial spirit, and his story has become legendary in Australian history. He died in 1886 at the age of 67.
