William Jackson

William Jackson was a French spy and agent who operated in Ireland during the late 18th century. He was caught by British authorities in 1793 and subsequently revealed to be in contact with Irish radicals in the Society of United Irishmen. Jackson's capture had significant consequences for Ireland, leading to increased government repression and sectarian violence.
