William Randolph Hearst Jr. was an American publisher, radio executive, and businessman. He was the son of William Randolph Hearst, the founder of the Hearst Corporation. He served as the president of the Hearst Corporation from 1941 to 1953. He was also a prominent figure in the Lux Radio Theatre, a popular radio drama series that aired from 1937 to 1954. He was known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in the fields of education and the arts. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 67.
