Yassamine Mather

Yassamine Mather is a British-Iranian socialist, academic, and activist. She is chair of Hands Off the People of Iran, editor of Critique, and researcher at Oxford's Middle East Centre. Mather has written extensively on Iranian politics and has been involved in various campaigns against the Iranian government. She has also been a vocal critic of Western foreign policy in the Middle East. Mather has a PhD in sociology from the University of London and has taught at several universities in the UK. She is known for her work on Iranian politics, socialism, and feminism.
