Yasser Awad

Yasser Awad is a former Iraqi Army officer who served in the country's military during the US-led invasion in 2003. He has spoken publicly about his experiences during the war and has been a vocal critic of the US military presence in Iraq. Awad has also worked as a security consultant and has written articles on military strategy and tactics. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and Kurdish.
