Yusef Salaam

Yusef Salaam is an American activist and author. He was wrongly convicted of a crime as a teenager and spent 16 years in prison before being exonerated. Salaam has become a prominent voice on issues of racial justice and police brutality. He has written a memoir about his experiences and has spoken publicly about his case and its implications for the US criminal justice system.
