Zachary Karabell

Zachary Karabell is an American author, economist, and journalist. He is the author of several books, including The Leading Indicators: A Short History of the Numbers that Rule Our World. Karabell has written for numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist. He has also appeared on various television programs, including PBS NewsHour and CNN. Karabell has a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and has taught at several universities. He is currently a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
